Off-the-rack sizing is built around an average body. Our tailors look at how a garment is constructed, how much seam allowance it has and how you actually wear it, then refine it for comfort, balance and a clean line.

How an alteration works

Bring it in
Book a fitting and bring the garment, plus the shoes or pieces you will wear with it.

Pinned on you
We mark every change on your body, so you see the result before any work begins.

Altered
Your tailor does the work by hand and machine, then presses the finished piece.

Try it on
A final try-on to confirm the fit. Anything that needs a second pass, we adjust.
Every garment is different, so every quote is too.
Pricing depends on the garment and the work involved. You get an exact quote at your fitting, before anything is cut. If we find it needs more, we tell you first.

How long does an alteration take?
Most alterations are ready within a week. Bridal and larger jobs are scheduled across several fittings.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We work by appointment only, so your tailor has time to fit you properly.
Can you alter clothes I bought elsewhere?
Of course. We alter garments from any brand or maker.
When should I bring in a wedding dress?
Ideally two to three months before the day, to leave room for multiple fittings.
